1. Suzuki Alto VXL (53,887 units)

With an astonishing 53,887 units sold, Suzuki Alto was the most popular car of Pakistan in 2021.

The Alto VX, with an ex-factory price of 17.0 lacs, is the third cheapest new car of Pakistan after Bravo and Pearl. It’s Suzuki’s lowest price car in Pakistan.

The highest trim, Alto VXL, has a price tag of a whopping 22.2 lacs, but is still the cheapest automatic car of Pakistan.

Other than fuel efficiency, Suzuki Alto has nothing to offer. It still managed to make a record sale in 2021 and come off as the most popular new car of Pakistan!

2. Toyota Yaris (28,673 units)

The Toyota Yaris was the most popular sedan and the second most popular car overall in Pakistan in 2021, with 28,673 units sold nationwide.

The Yaris is Toyota’s entry level sedan and costs 35.4 lacs for the base trim.

Though it costs more than both the Alsvin and the Saga, it offers fewer features than them. However, thanks to Toyota nameplate, Yaris remained one of the most popular cars of Pakistan in 2021!

3. Toyota Corolla (25,831 units)

The Toyota Corolla was the third most popular car of Pakistan in 2021 and the second best selling sedan, with 25,831 units sold overall.

While the base trim starts from 45.7 lacs, the highest variant goes as high as 57.5 lacs – which is a bit too steep. But it seems the Corolla lovers just don’t mind the price tag at all!

4. Suzuki Cultus (24,509 units)

The Suzuki Cultus, at 24,509 units sold, remained the second most popular hatchback as well as the second best selling car of Suzuki in Pakistan in 2021.

With a price tag ranging from 27.5 to 32.3 lacs, the new Cultus is a pleasant addition. It has great features and stellar looks – and it definitely deserves to be on any list of the most popular cars of Pakistan!

5. Suzuki WagonR (18,810 units)

The Suzuki WagonR managed to bag 18,810 sales in 2021, becoming the 3rd most popular hatchback as well as the 3rd best selling car of Suzuki nameplate in Pakistan.

With a starting price of 24.2 lacs, the WagonR is a decent family hauler with a good value for money!

6. Changan Alsvin (15,200 units)

The Changan Alsvin  was one of the most popular cars in 2021, with 15,200 units sold across the country.

Alsvin is the cheapest sedan in Pakistan and costs 33.9 lacs for the base trim. It’s got more features than even the City and the Corolla and provides an exceptional value for money.

Notable features include keyless entry, brake/ hill assist, parking sensors, alloy rims, and steering controls. The higher variants of the Alsvin offer sun roof, tire pressure monitoring and smart driving features.

7. Kia Sportage (22,300 units)

The Kia Sportage was the most popular SUV of Pakistan in 2021 with 22,300 units sold nationwide.

With a well rounded set of features, comfortable interior, and a stylish exterior, the Sportage provides a good value for money. Its base trim, costing a staggering 60.0 lacs, in particular has been immensely popular in the last fiscal year!
